This lesson is to fly the R22 helicopter as pictured. Should you wish to upgrade, this can be done after completing your booking.

Helicopters are probably the most exciting and rewarding machine to master. Our experienced instructors will give you a full briefing before you fly, explaining how all the controls work and taking you through the basics of operating a helicopter. When you’re ready you’ll be taken to the aircraft and your instructor will take you out over the beautiful Surrey countryside to try flying for yourself.

- R22 has a maximum weight 17St (108Kg), please advise us if over 15St (95Kg).

- R44 has a maximum passenger weight 21St (134Kg), please advise us if over 15St (95Kg). If you choose one of our R44 trial lessons you can take up to two friends with you free of charge (weight permitting).
